I have found this to be true among ministry leaders. The greater the fruitfulness, the greater the need to pull away and reconnect with God for perspective and re-prioritize. As leaders, we need to find ways to protect ourselves and our time, while still providing access to us for what’s truly important.
Part of this involves trusting the process. We prioritize what we need to do, then set our calendar of appointments to reflect those priorities. That’s an important key to fruitfulness. We need to do what we can do, and pull back when we need to pull back. Then we need to trust that the rest will get done.
We make the investments, we go through the journey, we use our time intentionally… and after that all we can do is trust the process to God.
