I’m helping facilitate the breakout groups, and can I just say that I love this stuff? I love the part where after getting some great new ideas and insights, you sit down to make a plan for incorporating what you’ve just learned into your ministry. If we could even hold onto a fraction of the good ideas we come across and put them into practice, what an amazing difference it would make.
The goal in this case is to have each attendee come away from the conference with the bare bones of a yearlong strategic plan for implementation. As I say sometimes when I’m feeling impatient: “It’s time to stop just thinking about it and start doing it.”
