Plenty of ministry leaders would love a coaching relationship that helps them become more missional and grows them in their calling. But for many newer leaders, coaching can seem financially out of reach. As someone who has a heart for working with younger missional leaders, I want to offer a possible solution:  triads. If I coach three leaders at once, for an hour and a half at a time, I could give focused attention to each leader for half an hour while the others listened and took away learnings from that time as well.

And you know what? Triads are not only more cost-effective; in some ways they’re even more helpful than individual coaching. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and it works. I’ve seen how people enjoy journeying alongside others, learning from people in similar positions, and sharing common obstacles and solutions. There’s a great deal we can learn from one another.
