Over this past week, I’ve introduced you to the latest resource developed by myself and Dave DeVries, the Cultivating Missional Movements implementation guide.
One of the things I particularly like about this guide is that it begins with numerous self-assessment exercises to help you understand your strengths and your starting points. You can only figure out where you’re going and how to get there once you know where you are.
I highly recommend the following sequence of actions to get the most out of this new set of resources:
- Read The Missional Journey book to get an overview of the concepts.
- Attend our upcoming Cultivating Missional Movements Workshop in Bellevue, WA on Nov 20-21, 2013
- Engage in the assessment exercises at the beginning of the CCM implementation guide.
- Form a cohort with other like-minded ministry leaders and work through the rest of the implementation guide together.
