When you’re coaching someone and they say, “That’s a good question,” how should you respond?
The correct answer is silence. When someone says, “That’s a good question,” it means the Holy Spirit has connected with them and what you need to do is nothing. Be silent and let them think. Even if it didn’t seem like a great question to you, it connected with them.
When someone says “that’s a great question” what do you do? You stay silent and you write it down. Let the person process. Wait until they speak before continuing the coaching conversation.
