Ever wish there was an easy way to prepare your leaders to facilitate a group discussion on scripture? Many people are so afraid that they won’t know enough about scripture that they won’t even sign up for the job.
Here’s the easiest way I’ve found: give them standard questions to read aloud that can be asked of any passage of scripture. Here’s one example: “What does the passage say about our relationship with God or others?” From there, the discussion centers not on previously learned knowledge or information but on direct observation and on the people responding to scripture here and now.
