Let’s take some time to celebrate. Last week our church was able to participate in a baptism celebration for a number of people in the transition center network where we’re serving. Together with the residents and another church that is serving here we had over 20 people express faith in Jesus and be baptized.

What a joy to see God change people’s lives, to see the genuine change, and the identification with Jesus to follow him. All of these people are in recovery. Watching this and participating in helps me remember what all of this is for. It makes it all worth it. The angels in heaven were having a party that day. Let’s not forget to have a party ourselves.
