The Ethiopia ACT Project provides an example of holistic ministry stunning in its breadth. They provide medical care for people with HIV/AIDS, they share the gospel and pray with people, they train HIV-positive patients to teach others how to adhere to the medication, they provide opportunities for people to start their own businesses to become self-sufficient financially, they offer tutoring and school uniforms for children, and they are now embarking on a church planting effort.
All of this in a place with very little money or infrastructure, but with a big vision: “To reduce the impact and spread of HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia by obeying Christ’s command to care for the least of these, my brothers”– Matt. 25:40
