Our service to others– both believers and unbelievers– is the lifeblood of our faith. Being the hands, feet and voice of Jesus is central to our everyday existence. Although it may not look as dramatic as we might expect, it will leave a lasting influence and impact. As the feet of Jesus, we go to the people he wants us to go to, we live with them and are present with them. As the hands of Jesus, we pitch in to help with whatever is needed, whether large or small. As the voice of Jesus, we speak words of hope, healing and encouragement into people’s lives. These three things form the heart of incarnational living.

As we live incarnationally and serve missionally, the spiritual sensitivities of others will be awakened. We are called to discern those opportunities when God is actively engaging with people, and then figure out how to best come alongside them on their spiritual journey. A two-way flow of communication will help us better understand what their needs are. We can provide prayer, support, resources, connections to other people, or a listening ear as we respond to what God is doing. We can tell them stories about Jesus and about how he has changed us. As they decide to follow him, we’ll be able to help them take the initial steps of the life of faith.

Get Involved

Get involved

Following Jesus has never been a go-it-alone kind of faith. If we follow Jesus, we are by definition part of something bigger than ourselves. To fully participate in that community, we need to get involved and become part of it. That starts with showing up, consistently and faithfully. Then we find something to do that needs to be done. It doesn’t matter much what; we are simply called to help. In trying different ways to contribute to the community of faith, we find ways to give of ourselves… not just giving our services but giving our hearts as well.
