A friend of mine asked her daughter what she learned in Sunday school this week. Here’s the response she got:
“Well, we heard a story about this guy who wanted to be Jesus’ disciple and Jesus said, ‘Go give away all your money and everything you own and then you can come be my disciple.’”
Pause. “I think that’s why he only got twelve.”
